Completed 401 Unauthorized in 1ms (ActiveRecord: 0.0ms) on Devise sign in (sessions create)

Question

am relatively new to rails. Please forgive me if this is supposed to be obvious.

Am failing to sign in into my account using devise, I keep getting the error invalid email or password, but they are the ones I used while creating the account. The server doesn't seam to contact the model for information when I look at the logs.

That's the response i receive and when the view is being called again, I get the error unpermitted parameter email

In the controller, am inheriting the Devise sessions Controller..So there is nothing in the controller really.. `class Businesses::SessionsController < Devise::SessionsController protected def after_sign_in_path_for(resource) business_dashboard_path end end` — Joshua Waiswa, Mar 01 '17 at 11:10
