Pyrausta kandalis is een vlinder van de familie van de grasmotten (Crambidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld door Pierre Viette in een publicatie uit 1989.
De soort komt voor op Madagaskar.
