Asajirella gelatinosa is een mosdiertjessoort uit de familie van de Lophopodidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is, als Pectinatella gelatinosa, voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1766 door Oka.[2]
