Het Olympisch kwalificatietoernooi waterpolo 2020 voor mannen vond plaats in Rotterdam van 14 t/m 21 februari 2021.^[2] Het toernooi was oorspronkelijk gepland in de periode 31 mei t/m 7 juni 2020, maar werd vanwege de COVID-19-pandemie uitgesteld.^[3]

Twaalf landenteams, waaronder gastland Nederland, namen deel aan het toernooi. Een van de deelnemende teams, dat van Turkije, werd uitgesloten nadat verschillende spelers positief waren getest op COVID-19.^[4] De beste drie teams plaatsten zich voor de Olympische Spelen in Japan.^[5]
