Newworldson is een Canadese christelijke pop/soulband. De groep komt uit St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada en bracht hun eerste album, Roots Revolution, uit in 2006.[1] De muziek is elektronisch, veelal in het soul-genre. De band is ondergebracht bij het label Inpop Records en heeft getourd met de Newsboys.[2] De band is op tournee geweest door Noord-Amerika, Europa, Australië en Nieuw-Zeeland.
Newworldson's Salvation Station werd geselecteerd als een van de 20 beste christelijke albums in Amerika in 2008 door het muziektijdschrift Cross Rhythms.[3] Het derde album van de band is getiteld 'Newworldson', gelijknamig aan de band.[4] De single 'There is a Way' heeft het tot nummer 2 in de Billboards gehaald op 20 maart 2010.[5]
Newworldson trad in 2009 en 2010 op op het Xnoizz Flevo Festival. Het jaar daarop speelde de band op de EO-Jongerendag en in 2012 op Festival 316 in Ureterp.
