Muricella megaspina is een zachte koraalsoort uit de familie Acanthogorgiidae. De koraalsoort komt uit het geslacht Muricella. Muricella megaspina werd in 1901 voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Hargitt & Rogers.
