Mimocrypta is een geslacht van vlinders uit de familie wespvlinders (Sesiidae), onderfamilie Sesiinae.
Mimocrypta is voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Naumann in 1971. De typesoort is Cryptomima hampsoni.[1]
