Kantipuria lyu is een vlinder uit de familie wespvlinders (Sesiidae), onderfamilie Sesiinae.
Kantipuria lyu is voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Gorbunov & Arita in 1999. De soort komt voor in het Oriëntaals gebied.[1]
