ISO 3166-2:MV

ISO 3166-2:MV is een ISO-standaard met betrekking tot de zogenaamde geocodes. Het is een subset van de ISO 3166-2 tabel, die specifiek betrekking heeft op de Maldiven.

De gegevens werden tot op 26 november 2018 geüpdatet op het ISO Online Browsing Platform (OBP)[1]. Hier worden 19 administratieve atollen - administrative atoll (en) / atoll administratif (fr) / atholhu (dv) – en 2 steden - city (en) / ville (fr) - gedefinieerd.

Volgens de eerste set, ISO 3166-1, staat MV voor de Maldiven; het tweede gedeelte is MLE (hoofdstad), een tweeletterige (provincie) of tweecijferige code.
