Histiotus magellanicus is een zoogdier uit de familie van de gladneuzen (Vespertilionidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd door Philippi in 1866.
Voorkomen
De soort komt voor in het zuiden van Chili en Argentinië.
