Graptophyllum is een geslacht van planten uit de acanthusfamilie (Acanthaceae). De soorten uit het geslacht komen voor in Afrika, van Nigeria tot in Kameroen en verder ook op Nieuw-Guinea, in de Australische deelstaat Queensland en in het zuidwestelijke deel van het Pacifisch gebied.^[1]
