Cryptohydra thieli is een hydroïdpoliep uit de familie Acaulidae. De poliep komt uit het geslacht Cryptohydra. Cryptohydra thieli werd in 1995 voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Thomas, Edwards & Higgins.
