In 2000 werd het achtste Campeonato Tocantinense gespeeld voor clubs uit de Braziliaanse staat Tocantins. De competitie werd georganiseerd door de FTF en werd gespeeld van 9 april tot 25 juni. Palmas werd de kampioen.
